We have a variety of programs at Morrow Manor designed to make life easier for our seniors. If you’ve recently found yourself wondering about what goes on in our facility during the day, you’ve come to the right place! Keep reading to learn why our residents love their time here.

One reason residents love Morrow Manor is simple: we have plenty of exciting social activities that also promote happy, healthy living! For example, we have designated times for ladies’ nail painting, which reduces anxiety and promotes relaxation. Another activity we often hold is group exercise time! Not only is it good for us to get movin’ and groovin’, but this time also provides social time with other residents!

Morrow Manor is also a great place to be because of our state-of-the-art rehabilitation program. The guidance given to our residents by our health care providers is personalized to their needs. For example, we specialize in hip and knee replacement therapy, in addition to cardiac-related issues and overall strength training. If your loved one is experiencing these issues in increasing severity, please consider Morrow Manor for their care.

Our residents have built trust with us because we are a skilled nursing facility, with additional programs designed to put their health first. Our Healthy Heart program provides post-hospital care for patients as they recover from a recent cardiac event. With the help of this program, we can educate our patients and their families about successfully living with heart disease. We take into account heart medications, along with a steady, healthy diet, and proper daily living activities. For more details on this program or others, feel free to call us at 740-768-2401.

If you’re struck by curiosity even after this blog and would like to know more about our social events each month, you can check out our activities calendar here, or learn more about our nursing care here. Our calendar is usually updated by the end of the month, so be sure to check frequently for more information, and follow us on Facebook for timely announcements. That’s all for now; thanks for reading!
